FINAL FRCA SOE PRACTICE CLUB
Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8.15pm
Next Course: June 2025
(Starting 13th May 2025)
Here you will find all the information regarding the course. For anything else, please email us.
WHAT DOES THE COURSE FEE COVER?
The course fee gives you access to attend any of the 10 practice sessions. In addition to this you will have access to the pre-prepared material all the way up to the exam week.
WHERE ARE THE SESSIONS HELD?
All sessions are conducted via Zoom. The link to this will be provided on the day of the session in the WhatsApp group.
You are welcome to use any device that you want. You will be required to use a browser to view the content and so it becomes very difficult to navigate between the different softwares if you are on a phone or a tablet. Our recommendation is to use a laptop/desktop.
CAN I JOIN MID-WAY THROUGH THE COURSE?
Yes, at any point. Use the form below to register.
WHEN ARE THE SESSIONS?
The sessions are held on Tuesday and Thursday evening at 8.15pm and last approximately 1:15 hours.

Due to the format of the session, you are required to attend the whole session and start on time. If you're unable to join on time or need to leave earlier, you may be allowed to join as an observer only.

You can see the schedule of sessions through this link.
WHAT IS THE FORMAT OF EACH SESSION?
At the start of the first session there will be a short introduction describing the exam format and covering housekeeping.
The content for the session will be available via a published powerpoint – the link will be given during the session. We often do not provide “model answers” apart from some factual information.
This is primarily a peer-peer practice club. You will mostly be paired with one of your peers and on occasions practice with one of the main faculty members.
Short Cases
3 questions for each candidate (6.5 minutes each) + 5 minutes feedback.
Basic Sciences
2 questions for each science for each candidate (5 minutes each) + 5-minute feedback (slightly shorter to try and keep the session to time)
Long Cases
Both candidates will do the 10-min prep for 2 long cases, be examined on one and be examiner for the other.
Faculty members may pop in and out of the different rooms to troubleshoot, observe and feedback.
WHY DON’T WE PROVIDE ANSWERS TO ALL THE QUESTIONS?
This has come up in post course feedback a few times. There are many reasons why we have chosen to not do “model” answers (there is still a reasonable amount of information provided with the questions as well as suggested further reading). Speak to one of the faculty members and they’d be happy to discuss this further.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you wish to withdraw your place prior to attending any session, we will refund the full amount.

If you are unhappy with the course for any other reason, please speak to us.
